“The presence of God will be with us”
1 Chronicles:28:20 “And David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God-my God-will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord”.”
Our victory doesn’t depend on what we have, but it depends on who we have with us.
If God allows or puts something in our hands, the Lord God will never leave us until we complete it successfully. When God is with us we will not be defeated. If God is with us he gives us victory in everything. He will never leave us nor forsake us.
1 Chronicles:29:2-4 “2 Now for the house of my God I have prepared with all my might: gold for things to be made of gold, silver for things of silver, bronze for things of bronze, iron for things of iron, wood for things of wood, onyx stones, stones to be set, glistening stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble slabs in abundance.
3 Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver:
4 three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses;“
In the above verses, it is very clear that, it is not what we have that matters, it is Who is with us. It does not matter how much wealth we have but the Lord is with us. We will finish everything because the Lord is with us no matter how many people are against us.
Even if we have nothing, we can certainly achieve it in our own lives.
God’s presence must be with us too. Without the presence of God, even very Huge amount of money you have is worthless.
Matthew 16:26 “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
What seems profitable to us is not profitable to the Lord.
People forget their position when it comes to money. That is why people get spoil when money comes. So when we have huge money, money should not rule us, we should rule the money.
Exodus 33:16 “How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?””
Deuteronomy 7:7 “The LORD did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples.”
Deuteronomy 7:14 “You will be blessed more than any other people;…”
We know that we are special to God. Did others know that we are special to God?The Lord should be with us, the spirit that can assure that the Lord is with us. The mental strength to walk with the Lord are all with us, so that we can live successfully in all things.
Walking with the Lord is very necessary.
Exodus:33:1-3 “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Leave this place, you and the people you brought up out of Egypt, and go up to the land I promised….
2 I will send an angel before you and drive out the Canaanites, …
3 Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked person and I might destroy you on the way.”
When said to Moses, I will send an angel before you to inherit the promise land. “But for us (the new covenant people), God did not send His angel before us, but He sends His Own Son JESUS for us to inherit the promises of God.”
It is God’s presence with us that makes the difference between God’s children and others.
No matter how great a crowd Moses leads, he wants to say, “Unless God comes with us, we cannot be special, so God must come with us.”
God must be with us. God’s presence must be with us. And all boundaries of our lives will be successful, if God is the one who leads us.
The satisfaction of life – the presence of God with us.
Our life satisfaction is depending on God is with us only. Christ is within us, even when we are hungry toward Him. So we will be happy in Christ no matter what is our circumstances
Deuteronomy 25:19 “When the Lord your God gives you rest from all the enemies around you in the land he is giving you to possess as an inheritance, …”
Only when the Holy Spirit is with us will be at rest, contentment, and peace. Whatever we do without Him will not bring a big difference in our lives.
Solomon with his great wisdom, he searched everything and finds the answer, he says,
Ecclesiastes:7:27-29 ““Look,” says the Teacher, “this is what I have discovered …
28 While I was still searching but not finding, I found one upright man among a thousand, but not one upright woman among them all.
29 This only I have found: God created mankind upright but they have gone in search of many schemes.”
Solomon lived with 1000 women, but not satisfied with even one. So, it does not matter how many people are with us in our lives, it is important that the Lord must be with us. He is our satisfaction. So we need to abide in the knowledge of the Lord.
Ecclesiastes 9:2-4 “All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked ;to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificed, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.
3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that, they go to the dead.
4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.”
The Lord is graciously saving us today. He saves us because He loves us. He is protecting us to be annihilated to this day by the mercy He has on us.
The death of the righteous is glorious in the sight of the Lord.
What happens to everyone, happens to the righteous too. Yet in all things the Lord glorifies His name. He shows that He is with us, and He saves us. The same thing happens to everyone, but we go into the presence of the living God, and they go straight to destruction.
Ecclesiastes 6:2 “God gives some people wealth, possessions, and honor so that they lack nothing their hearts desire, but God does not grant them the ability to enjoy them, and strangers enjoy them instead. This is meaningless, a grievous evil.”
Ecclesiastes 5:15 “Everyone comes naked from their mother’s womb and as everyone comes, so they depart. Only when we live in this world can we enjoy all that God has given us. We can only experience it if we have the grace and presence of God. They take nothing from their toil that they can carry in their hands.”
When we live in this world we can enjoy all that God has given us. We can only experience it, if we have the grace and presence of God.
Ecclesiastes 6:3 “A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not receive proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he.”
Although there are a thousand things around you, we can only live if the mercy of the Lord and the grace of the Lord.
No matter how much property, possessions, children there is no point in having possessions, children, if He is not with us.
The Lord God must be there too because the blessing is only, if He is there.
For those who go without a relationship with God, everything will be an illusion, as Solomon finds it.
Whenever we ignore the grace that the Lord has given us, it becomes very important to look around the destruction happening.
This is the only thing the Lord has graciously saved us from being annihilated.
Life without the Lord is a worthless, no matter how many crores of the property you have and there are in this world.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 “Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments for this is the duty of all mankind.
14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.”
To fear God and you need to take out fantasies. It is our duty to seek the Lord. One day we must stand before God.
Good or bad He will judge us. On that day God looks at us and should say: “Good and faithful servant, you have been faithful for a little while, and I will make you ruler over many.” If we stand right before eyes of God, no need to stand as a sinner.
Whenever we do things that are not pleasing to God, then God cannot help us.
Death cannot rule over us. Because Jesus broke the power of death. The Lord will save us every day from the power of death.
If you are not ready to die and want to live by faith, no disease around you can touch you.
God is the one who makes you live, if you decide to live.
God’s presence is with us.
Amen…
